Today we’re thrilled to announce Tontine have joined us as a client. They’re great guys and have proven they’re into great work so we’re stoked.

Last night we took home a Cannes Gold Lion for our IKEA Holidays radio spot and Jade was the only lucky monkey representing in the French Riviera. Congratulations to the Tim(s) who created the ad and the entire team who helped make it happen, including one brave client. Is 10 am too early for champagne?

Good news. We’ve got 4 finalists in the running for some metal lions at Cannes this year. One for our Telstra Phone Hijack, another for the IKEA Career Positioning System and two finalists in radio for our IKEA Holidays spot. Have a listen to it here. And there are still a few categories to be announced.

We recently opened additional office space with an exhibition of high art, featuring photography by all Three Drunk Monkey staff. Eschewing the current ‘digital photography’ fad, each team of two were given film-loaded disposable cameras to create imagery on the theme of ‘Redfern’. Well known Art Dealer Damien Minton of Damien Minton gallery judged the work and shared his insights on the art world and the joys of the suburb we’ve come to love (and photograph). With music by Chris Kelaart and dips by Kerrie, the whole affair was a triumph for the enterprising folk on Monkey Social.
