How do you make an international show feel uniquely New Zealand? You hijack the most Kiwi event there is. Sky didn’t just want New Zealanders to know that House of the Dragon was coming. They wanted to own the conversation. So, in a fully orchestrated immersive experience, we made it feel as if dragons had arrived, right in the middle of Sky’s most anticipated event of the year. The final game of the All Blacks Vs Ireland tournament at SKY Stadium.
The activation ran as an in-stadium event and live broadcast TV ad. The sounds of dragons screeching and flapping thundered as they approached the stadium. Their fire blasted across the sky as they landed on the rooftop. And their shadows were seen as they flew across the field.
